Job Summary
Provide professional medical care to patients under physician supervision by rooming patients, taking vital signs, collecting data, and facilitating patient flow. Collaborate with the team to identify physical and emotional needs, schedule tests and exams, and obtain insurance pre-authorizations. Assume lead responsibility for the practice safety program, maintain documentation standards, and validate clinical competencies. Requires LPN license in Colorado or Kansas, one year of medical office experience, and Basic Life Support certification. Located at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/G.E.D.
- 1 year experience in medical office or ambulatory services/outpatient clinic setting
- License Practical Nurse, LPN license to practice in Colorado or Kansas
- Basic Life Support from American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- IV Therapy, State IV certification upon hire or within three months of hire/transfer
