Job Summary
Provide compassionate, patient-centered hospice nursing in a home-care setting for stable patients; administer treatments and medications, manage symptoms, and support emotional comfort and dignity for patients and families. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, demonstrate nursing competencies across age-specific needs, monitor patient status, and ensure safety in the home environment. The role supports a maximum 1:4 patient ratio, self-scheduling, and rotating 6:00–6:00 shifts with every sixth weekend differential, with opportunities to support nurses pursuing RN advancement.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Current LPN license in good standing (state nursing board) and/or multi-state licensure privileges
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers
- Knowledge of medications and safety in home care settings
- If applicable location requires IV therapy, IV therapy training/competency as per North Dakota guidelines (per posting, if IV therapy is required)
