Job Summary
Administer medications as prescribed, provide nursing care in a nursing home setting, and specialize in dementia care for patients with cognitive impairments. Utilize ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate medical records, assist in urgent care situations requiring immediate attention, and apply physiology knowledge to assess and monitor patient conditions. Collaborate with internal medicine physicians for comprehensive patient care, perform sonography procedures as needed, and assist with sutures and wound care. A valid LPN license in the state of practice is required, with experience in medication administration and nursing care essential. Familiarity with dementia protocols and coding systems is necessary, while proficiency in sonography and suturing skills are advantageous.
