Job Summary
Assess, treat, and communicate patient needs with clinical confidence during overnight hours in Robinson, Olney, and surrounding areas. Deliver professional nursing care across the full scope of practice, conduct thorough assessments, and contribute to individualized care plans. Administer medications per physician orders, identify nursing diagnoses, and record accurate clinical notes regarding pain and symptom management. Coordinate with community health partners, obtain necessary orders, and ensure equipment and services are available. Maintain clinical skills through continuing education while providing a calm, reassuring presence to families during nighttime distress. Work 10-hour shifts three nights a week with rotating weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Active LPN license in the state of employment
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel locally
- Comfort and composure working independently during overnight hours
- Strong assessment skills
- Sound clinical judgment in high-pressure moments
- A calm, reassuring presence for patients and families during nighttime distress
- Excellent documentation habits
- Communication skills
