Plan and deliver safe, therapeutic, age-appropriate patient care through assessment, intervention, and evaluation. Incorporate patient and family characteristics into the care delivery process while collaborating with the multidisciplinary health team to optimize outcomes. Perform direct patient care, process medication orders, obtain prior authorizations, and complete documentation reflecting coordination and teaching needs. Evaluate patient progress, modify critical paths, and address clinical issues at the point of care before escalating. Maintain clean environments, respond to emergencies, and verify advance care directives.
