Job Summary
Provide in-home direct patient care according to the provider's prescribed plan of care while closely monitoring progress and recovery. Assess and document patient conditions, administer medications and IV fluids, and inspect patients for injuries or bedsores to deliver appropriate treatments. Collaborate with providers, aides, and allied health professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes. This role offers flexible full-time, part-time, or PRN scheduling with daily pay, no overtime required, and one-on-one patient care. Interim HealthCare supports a patient-centric approach to help clients find peace during their most complicated times.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a practical (vocational) nursing program for LPN/LVN
- Current license as a LPN/LVN in the state(s) in which candidate completed at least 1200 hours of experience as an LPN/LVN
- Current unrestricted license to practice as Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state associated with this position
- Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification
- Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work locations
Desired Qualifications
- Practical trach and/or ventilator experience
