Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Heritage Hall provides compassionate, person-centered care in a long-term care setting. You build meaningful connections with residents, offering not only nursing care but emotional support to help create a home where residents feel valued and heard. Responsibilities include delivering nursing care per LPN scope, applying nursing practices and procedures, staying compliant with Virginia long-term care regulations, and collaborating with the care team to support residents’ well-being. The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active LPN license in Virginia, and effective communication skills to work with residents, families, and staff. Required Qualifications
- Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program
- Must have an active LPN license in the state of Virginia
- Experience in long-term care preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals
- Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing in a long-term care facility
- Ability to make independent decisions
