Job Summary
The LPN position at Friendship Village of Dublin involves providing 5-Star care to residents, taking and transcribing physicians’ orders, supervising nursing personnel, and maintaining resident charts. You will assess residents' conditions, participate in care plan development, admit new residents, administer medications, and respond to emergency situations. A valid Ohio LPN license and CPR certification are required, along with experience in medical or surgical nursing. The role also emphasizes the ability to teach and motivate staff in a supportive environment.
Required Qualifications
- Currently licensed to practice nursing in Ohio (LPN)
- Valid CPR
- At least six (6) months experience in medical or surgical nursing, preferably with geriatric patients
- General knowledge of the psychosocial and physical problems of the geriatric population
- Ability to teach, supervise and motivate nursing staff
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, orally and in writing
