Job Summary
Provide basic nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and assisting with personal hygiene. Monitor vital signs, follow individualized care plans, and maintain accurate documentation of treatments and resident responses. Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and families to ensure cohesive patient care, while adhering to infection control protocols and safety guidelines. Act as an advocate for residents, promoting their dignity and emotional well-being in a compassionate manner.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited LPN or LVN program
- Current and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Strong clinical and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work well as part of a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and nursing documentation
