Perform physical examinations and establish medical histories to determine donor suitability. Build rapport with donors to ensure satisfaction while ensuring confidentiality and educating them on general health and unacceptable test results. Evaluate and manage donor injuries, adverse events, and histories of illness or medications. Administer the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program and assist in staff training. Monitor donor awareness regarding potential hazards. Work involves standing and sitting for up to four hours daily, with exposure to biological fluids, electrical equipment, and extreme cold below 32 degrees F.
