Job Summary
Flexible LPN gig across Mercy Hospital facilities in MO. Float between Mercy locations with no weekend, holiday, or shift requirements. Pick day or night shifts; minimal guaranteed hours (minimum 12 hours per 90 days; max ~30 hours/week). Shift options include 4, 8, or 12 hours. Participate in the Gig Nursing Program with scheduling flexibility and last-minute shift cancellations. Responsibilities include providing patient care under licensed supervision, coordinating with departments, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, and supporting Med Surg/ED/ICU/Behavioral Health services as assigned. Requires LPN licensure, BLS (and ACLS/PALS where applicable), IV certification; Epic experience preferred. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and requiring standing/walking for shifts. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license in hiring state
- Minimum 1 year recent bedside LPN experience (2+ years for ED/ICU, etc.)
- BLS for Med Surg; ACLS for CC; PALS for ED
- IV certification
- Epic experience preferred
