Job Summary
Flexible LPN needed for Mercy Hospital's GIG program across multiple Missouri facilities. Float between departments (BH, ED, ICU, MS) with day or night shifts, no weekend/holiday/shift requirements, and variable shift incentives. Works as a W-2 employee in the Gig Nursing Program with a minimum scheduling obligation (12 hours per 90 days) and up to 30 hours per week. Requires LPN licensure, BLS; ACLS/PALS as applicable; IV certification; Epic experience preferred. Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds and perform duties requiring standing, walking, and mobility. Locations include Mercy St. Louis, Mercy Jefferson (Festus), Mercy South (South St. Louis County), Mercy Washington, Mercy Lincoln (Troy), Mercy Perry (Perryville), Mercy Southeast (Cape Girardeau), Mercy Stoddard (Dexter), MO.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license in hiring state
- 1 year of recent bedside LPN experience (Med Surg)
- 2 years of bedside LPN experience for ED/ICU/other specialties
- BLS (Med Surg); ACLS (CC); BLS, ACLS, & PALS (ED); IV certification
- Epic experience (preferred)
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds; prolonged standing/walking; ability to reach/bend/kneel/twist/squat
