Job Summary
Flexible LPN gig across Mercy facilities with floating between designated Mercy Hospital locations. LPNs provide patient care under supervision, coordinate with other departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality. Roles support Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, ICU, and Medical-Surgical units with 4/8/12-hour shifts (Sun–Sat), no weekend/holiday/shift requirements, and a program emphasis on scheduling flexibility. W‐2 employment with incentives and a minimum hour commitment (12 hours every 90 days; max 30 hours per week). Must be a graduate of an accredited practical nursing program with current LPN licensure in the hiring state; BLS required, IV certification, and unit-specific credentials (ACLS for CC, PALS for ED) as applicable; Epic experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license in the hiring state
- Minimum 1 year recent bedside LPN experience (2 years for ED/ICU/other specialties)
- BLS (all), ACLS for CC, PALS for ED, IV certification
