LPN GIG - Flex/Per Diem/PRN - Mercy St Louis and Surrounding Communities

Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care under RN supervision while maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients. Coordinate care across departments including Behavioral Health, Emergency, ICU, and Medical-Surgical units at Mercy facilities in St. Louis and surrounding communities. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of information. This role requires a minimum of 12 hours every 90 days and allows flexible scheduling of day or night shifts, though participation involves being available on short notice and subject to last-minute cancellations. You must hold a current LPN license, possess one year of recent bed-side experience for Med-Surg or two years for other specialties, and hold BLS certification (plus ACLS and PALS for ED/ICU). IV certification is required, and duties include lifting 50 pounds, prolonged standing, and physical tasks such as bending and squatting.
