Job Summary
Provide patient care under RN supervision using the nursing process across Medical-Surgical and Behavioral Health units. Maintain patient rights, confidentiality, and coordinate care with other departments. Obtain and maintain a current compact LPN license, ensuring BLS and IV certification are current. This flexible gig role offers $30/hr base pay with variable shift incentives for 4, 8, or 12-hour shifts. Participants must schedule a minimum of 12 hours every 90 days and remain available for short-notice scheduling, including weekend and holiday coverage.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current compact LPN license
- One year of recent bed-side LPN experience
- BLS certification
- IV certification
- Ability to stand/walk most of the time on duty
- Ability to perform significant amount of bending and stooping
- Ability to lift and turn patients with assistance
- Ability to push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds
- Availability for day shift OR night shift
- Responsibility for scheduling a minimum number of hours
- Availability on short notice
- Flexibility
- Subject to last minute shift cancellation
- No weekend requirement
- No holiday requirement
