Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a GIG/PRN/Flex role across Mercy Hospital facilities in Missouri. Floats between designated Mercy Hospital facilities (BH, ED, ICU, MS) with a variety of shifts (4/8/12 hours) and no guaranteed hours. Participate in the Gig Nursing Program with scheduling requirements and potential short-notice cancellation. Compensation is $30/hour with variable shift incentives; W-2 employee; minimum 12 hours every 90 days and up to 30 hours per week. Facilities include Mercy St. Louis, Mercy Jefferson (Festus), Mercy South (South St. Louis County), Mercy Washington, Mercy Lincoln (Troy), Mercy Perry (Perryville), Mercy Southeast (Cape Girardeau), and Mercy Stoddard (Dexter). Requires LPN licensure, willingness to float among facilities, and adherence to department-specific certifications (BLS; ACLS; PALS as applicable; IV certification). Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license in the hiring state
- Minimum 1 year of recent bedside LPN experience for Med Surg or 2 years for ED/ICU as applicable
- BLS certification for Med Surg; ACLS for CC; PALS for ED
- IV certification required
- Epic experience preferred
