Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed provider or Registered Professional Nurse. Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients, coordinate care with other departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality. Perform duties requiring the ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds regularly, along with prolonged standing, walking, and repetitive gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting. Maintain a valid LPN license within the hiring state or via compact licensure, and hold current Basic Life Support certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- LPN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office
