LPN, General Surgery Clinic

Provide professional nursing care for clinic patients in a general surgery clinic setting using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation). Collaborates with professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care outcomes. Administers prescribed medications and IV solutions, maintains exam rooms, prepares supplies, documents patient information accurately, and uses the patient data management system and NHS interface. Educates patients and families about procedures, medications, nutrition, and wellness; communicates with peers, staff, physicians, and administration; adheres to the Arkansas Nurse Practice Act and clinic standards. Maintains readiness with BLS certification, completes required competency assessments, and participates in process improvements as directed.
