Job Summary
Provide direct patient care activities including IV management, utilizing the nursing process, under the supervision of the RN. Implement treatments and procedures within the scope of practice for the Licensed Practical Nurse. Perform patient assessment and evaluation regarding the patient's age and developmental needs, and assist in developing and updating the plan of care. Deliver patient teaching and discharge planning under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Participate in professional development and lifelong learning. Perform other responsibilities as assigned. Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no weekends or holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- LPN – IV Certification
- No Supervisor Experience
