Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a Full Time FLEX role at a long-term care facility. Provides professional nursing care to residents under supervision, administers medications and treatments, documents care outcomes, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team. The role supports a flexible schedule with shift differentials and a $10,000 sign-on bonus; benefits include health, dental, and vision coverage. Requires LPN licensure, graduation from an accredited practical nursing program (associate degree preferred), and ongoing competency/certification requirements. Flexible schedule includes Days/Evenings/Overnights with a rotating shift pattern and FLEX premium of $5/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- CEU and competency training requirements of the department and facility
- If position requires IV therapy/management skills, ND qualification: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing
- Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility
