Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) needed for Full Time FLEX position in Long-Term Care at Good Samaritan’s Battle Lake facility. The role provides professional nursing care for residents under supervision, administers medications and treatments, documents interactions and outcomes, and collaborates within an interdisciplinary team. Requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program with an unencumbered LPN license; associate degree in practical nursing preferred; possible IV therapy requirements for North Dakota; minimum 400 hours of LPN experience or equivalent supervised clinical experience; benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k), and a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Schedule is FLEX with availability for Days/Evenings/Overnights and additional shift differentials for evenings, weekends, or holidays; flex premium of $5/hour offered. Shift: 8 Hours; Weekly Hours: 40; Salary range $27-$36 per hour depending on experience. Shift details indicate rotating shifts with FLEX scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- State nursing license (unencumbered) with multi-state privileges or applicable license
- Associates degree preferred in practical nursing
- CEU and competency training requirements annually
- Experience: minimum 400 hours of experience as LPN or supervised clinical experience across lifespan (as applicable)
- IV therapy/management skills per ND requirements (if applicable)
