Job Summary
LPN - Full Time FLEX in a Long Term Care setting. The Licensed Practical Nurse provides professional nursing care for residents under supervision, demonstrates nursing principles, administers medications, documents interactions, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team. The role requires the ability to perform testing, recognize problems, and respond to emergent situations. FLEX schedule includes days/evenings/Overnights with additional $5/hour FLEX premium and shift differentials for evenings, weekends, or holidays. A $10,000 sign-on bonus and benefits package are included. Location: Battle Lake, MN with 40 hours/week; rotating shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
- If position requires IV therapy/management skills, graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing (for ND requirement).
- Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of the curriculum or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility.
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
