Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting under supervision, with duties including medication administration, resident assessment, care planning, documentation, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. Full-time FLEX position with a FLEX premium (+$5/hr) and shift differentials for evenings, weekends, or holidays; includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, LPN licensure, and continuing education; associates degree preferred. Location: Battle Lake, MN; 40 hours/week; rotating shifts; benefits eligible.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
- Unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing board and/or multi-state licensure
- May require IV therapy/management skills per North Dakota requirements (ND nursing board approved program or IV therapy course)
- Annual continuing education and competency training requirements
- Possesses required certifications and competencies for department and facility
- Ability to provide care, administer medications, document care, and communicate effectively
