Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision of a registered nurse or physician; administer medications and treatments as ordered; document resident interactions and outcomes; collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team; maintain confidentiality; educate residents and families on prevention and treatment plans; demonstrate nursing knowledge and skills within the full scope of practice; require LPN licensure and practical nursing education; position offers flexible shifts with rotating days/evenings/overnights and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Currently holding an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
- If position requires IV therapy/management skills, completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing or graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum
- Minimum of clinical experience across the lifespan or 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility
