Job Summary
Full-time LPN in a Long-Term Care setting at Good Samaritan Battle Lake Center. 40 hours per week, days (6am–2:30pm), with every other weekend and rotating holidays. Provides professional nursing care under supervision, administers medications/treatments, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to support residents’ health, safety, and well-being. $27+/hour depending on experience, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits; shift differentials on weekends. Requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, LPN licensure, and relevant clinical experience; continuing education and competency maintenance expected.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Must have an unencumbered LPN license
- Associate degree in practical nursing preferred
- IV therapy/management skills as required by North Dakota (if applicable) or equivalent
- Experience/clinical hours as LPN across lifespan
- Continued CEU and competency requirements
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, day shift, with every other weekend and rotating holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as an LPN
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
- Unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing board
- IV therapy/management skills as applicable (ND requirement)
- Minimum supervised clinical experience across life span or 400 hours as LPN at another facility
- Continued education/CEU requirements as needed
