Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse provides professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision, demonstrating knowledge of nursing principles and applying age- and population-specific standards per care plans. Responsible for administering medications/treatments, documenting resident interactions and outcomes, communicating with residents, families and the care team, and contributing to prevention and treatment plans. Requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program and LPN licensure; associates degree preferred. Position is full-time, days, 40 hours/week, with every other weekend and rotating holidays; includes shift differentials and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Possesses unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing board and/or multi-state licensure
- Preferred Associate degree in practical nursing
- IV therapy/management skills as required by North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program or IV Therapy course
- Has 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility or completed supervised clinical experience across lifespan
- Maintains required CEUs and department-specific competencies
