Job Summary
LPN position in a not-for-profit long-term care facility requiring 40 hours/week on day shift (6am-2:30pm) with every-other weekend and rotating holidays. Provides professional nursing care to residents under supervision, administers medications and treatments, participates in care planning, documents resident interactions, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team. Requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, an active LPN license, and ongoing CEU/compliance; benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Associate degree in practical nursing preferred
- Current unencumbered LPN license with state board and/or multi-state licensure
- Meets department competencies and CEU requirements
- IV therapy/management requirements as applicable in ND
- Good communication and confidentiality
- Ability to work in long-term care setting and with interdisciplinary team
- Ability to administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Experience with resident assessment and care planning
- Ability to document and maintain resident records
- Background check and drug screen as condition of employment
