Job Summary
LPN - Full Time Days in Long Term Care: provides professional nursing care to residents under supervision, administers medications and treatments, and participates in care planning within an interdisciplinary team. Requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program with an LPN license; duties include testing to evaluate resident status, maintaining resident records, ensuring safety and confidentiality, educating residents and family members on prevention and treatment plans, and contributing to a cooperative work environment. Shift is 6am-2:30pm, 40 hours/week, with every other weekend and rotating holidays; benefits include health/dental/vision and a sign-on bonus of $10,000. Must meet state licensure requirements and maintain ongoing CEUs and competency training.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with state nursing board and/or multi-state licensure privileges
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program as an LPN
- Clinical experience across the lifespan or 400 hours of LPN experience
- CEU and competency training requirements
- Ability to administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Competence in documenting resident interactions and maintaining confidentiality
- Possesses or able to obtain required certifications; IV therapy/management skills as applicable (North Dakota requirement noted in posting)
