Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care to long-term residents in a not-for-profit facility. Day shift (6am–2:30pm), 40 hours per week with every-other-weekend and rotating holidays, includes weekend differential. Responsible for medication administration, patient assessment, care planning, documentation, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure resident health, safety, and comfort. Requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, active LPN license, and preferred associate degree in practical nursing; eligible for benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), and paid time off. Sign-on bonus of $10,000 offered.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as an LPN
- Currently holds an unencumbered LPN license with state nursing board and/or multi-state licensure privileges
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
- IV therapy/management skills (if required by ND) or completion of an approved IV Therapy course
- Minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN or supervised clinical experience across lifespan as part of pre-licensure program
