Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care for residents in a not-for-profit long-term care facility under supervision, administering medications and treatments, performing testing, documenting outcomes, and supporting an interdisciplinary care team. Demonstrates nursing knowledge across the resident lifespan, develops and supports care plans, educates residents and families, and ensures health, comfort and safety with a focus on quality care in a Christian environment. Role requires 40 hours per week with days (6am–2:30pm), includes every other weekend and rotating holidays; additional weekend shift differentials apply. Eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Current unencumbered LPN license
- Associate degree in practical nursing preferred
- If position requires IV therapy/management for North Dakota: graduation from a Board-approved AASPN program with IV therapy in curriculum or IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing; or have 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility
- Attends required continuing education and maintains department/competency requirements
- Ability to perform testing and administer medications as ordered; ability to communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality
