Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for long-term care. Provides professional nursing care to residents under supervision, administers medications, documents care, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include assessing residents, supporting care plans, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring resident safety. Position is full-time, days shift, 40 hours/week with every other weekend and rotating holidays; includes shift differentials on weekends and sign-on bonus. Requires graduation from an accredited PN program and active LPN license; BSN not required. Knowledge of IV therapy is location-dependent and may be required. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as an LPN
- Current LPN license with state nursing board
- Associates degree in practical nursing preferred
- Experience in long-term care settings and ability to perform medication administration
- Ability to document resident care and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
- Knowledge of care plans and patient safety practices
