Job Summary
LPN provides professional nursing care for residents in a long-term care facility under supervision, administering medications and treatments, documenting resident interactions, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team, and supporting care plans. The role requires a licensed practical nurse with a completed nursing program, valid LPN licensure, and competency in nursing principles; duties include testing/assessing residents, recognizing problems, and ensuring resident health and safety. Work schedule is full-time days (6am–2:30pm) for 40 hours per week, with every other weekend and rotating holidays, and includes shift differentials on weekends. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus other total rewards. Sign-on bonus of $10,000 available.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Must have an unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing board and/or multi-state licensure privileges
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
- If position requires IV therapy/management skills, specific North Dakota requirements may apply (IV therapy course or AASPN program)
