Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for long-term care facility. Provides professional nursing care to residents under supervision, administers medications/treatments, documents outcomes, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team. 40 hours/week, dayshift (6am-2:30pm), includes every other weekend and rotating holidays. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision; $10,000 sign-on bonus. Requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program and an unencumbered LPN license; associate degree in practical nursing preferred. Previous IV therapy requirements may apply in North Dakota per state board; CEU/compliance ongoing.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements of the department and facility
