Job Summary
LPN – Full Time Days in a not-for-profit long-term care facility. Responsible for providing professional nursing care to residents under supervision, conducting assessments, administering medications, documenting care, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Shift is 6am-2:30pm, 40 hours/week with every other weekend and rotating holidays; includes weekend shift differentials and benefits. Must have completed an accredited practical nursing program and hold an unencumbered LPN license with state licensure and ongoing CEU/competency requirements; IV therapy credentials per ND requirements may apply in some cases. Prior experience in long-term care and ability to work within care plans, communicate clearly, and maintain resident confidentiality is required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- State licensure in good standing (LPN)
- Unencumbered LPN license and ability to obtain multi-state licensure privileges
- Continued education requirements and competency standards (CEU and ongoing training)
- Experience in long-term care nursing and medication administration as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Clinical experience during pre-licensure program or equivalent (minimum supervised clinical experience across lifespan)
- Preferred associate degree in practical nursing
