Job Summary
LPN on a full-time day shift in the 8 North Med-Surg unit. Responsibilities include assisting the Registered Nurse with implementing the plan of care for a group of patients, providing direct patient care in a safe manner, collecting and reporting data, and communicating with patients, families, and health-team members. Requires BLS through American Heart Association and LPN licensure in Tennessee, Mississippi, or Arkansas. No supervisory duties. Physical demands include maneuvering up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs frequently; exposure to body fluids and high-demand clinical environments. Located at Methodist Le Bonheur Hospital in Memphis, TN.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- BLS - American Heart Association
- LPN Tennessee/Mississippi/Arkansas licenses or eligibility
- Medium work physical demands
- Med-Surg nursing experience preferred
- Technical Diploma in Nursing or equivalent
