Job Summary
Manage staff, clients, and medications in the CSU and CCSU Programs by performing evaluations within 24 hours of admission and implementing plans of care. Evaluate, document safety measures, and accurately observe and report medical and psychiatric signs and symptoms. Demonstrate crisis de-escalation skills and administer medications with accuracy while maintaining patient confidentiality. Document nursing observations and actions reflecting the plan of care, including vital signs, injections, wound care, and drug screens. Navigate electronic health records and communicate effectively with clients, staff, and supervisors. Requires Florida LPN licensure, two years general staff experience, and availability for 24/7 shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the State of Florida as an LPN
- Minimum two (2) years' experience as a general staff nurse
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with clients, in staff meetings, and with supervisors
- Intermediate to advanced experience in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), the use of personal computers, and standard office productivity software
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- A valid Class E Driver's License for positions that require driving personal or Agency vehicle on Agency business
- Must maintain a minimum Bodily Injury & Property Liability insurance limit of at least $50,000 for positions that require driving personal own vehicle (POV) on Agency business
- Must be available as needed when required
