Job Summary
Conduct licensed nursing duties including treatments, chemstrips, I & O, catheterization, enemas, and tube feeds. Administer medications, evaluate resident needs, and orient, admit, discharge, or transfer residents. Keep care plans updated, supervise nursing assistants, and lead the unit when required. Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, guests, and staff while adhering to state and federal regulations. Participate in QAPI efforts, annual compliance and ethics training, and Trauma Informed Care initiatives. Share improvement ideas with leadership and report barriers to project success. Perform assigned personal services, clerical duties, and unit cleaning as directed.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed practical nurse or board eligible in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Professional, communicator, team builder, leader, organized, and a problem solver
- Criminal history background clearance: Act 169 and Act 13
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of government nursing home regulations preferred
