Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of Certified Nursing Assistants in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. Ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained as directed by the RN, Director of Nursing Services, and Administration. Maintain a positive attitude toward the elderly while following the Lifestyle Pledge and Principles daily. This Full Time 2nd Shift role includes a $1000.00 sign-on bonus for Licensed Practical Nurses in good standing or those in training to complete LPN requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing and currently licensed by the State or in training to satisfactorily complete the requirements to become a LPN
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to read and write in a legible and understandable manner
- Speak and understand English
- Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws
- Positive attitude toward the elderly
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a nursing capacity
- Knowledge of regulations and guidelines governing long-term care
