Job Summary
LPN role in acute inpatient care supporting RN in implementing the plan of care for a group of patients; provides direct, safe patient care, conducts nursing assessment data collection, reports/records objective and subjective data, and participates in activities to improve health care delivery. Requires LPN licensure and BLS certification; TN/MS/AR licensure across multiple boards; clinical duties include monitoring patients, documentation, and collaboration with health-care team in a large Memphis-based hospital environment.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Tennessee, Mississippi, or Arkansas
- BLS - American Heart Association
- Technical Degree or Diploma in Nursing
- Medium work physical demands and related competencies
- Experience in acute inpatient care preferred (no prior work experience requirement not explicitly stated)
- No supervisory responsibilities
- Med/Surg or inpatient clinical setting awareness
