Job Summary
LPN provides direct and indirect nursing care, collaborates with the health care team to deliver quality care and restorative services, conducts resident assessments, develops and evaluates care plans, and supervises nursing assistants. Leads as charge nurse in the absence of an RN, ensures resident safety and rights, coordinates admissions/transfers/discharges, administers medications and nursing procedures, documents nursing notes, and communicates effectively with the interdisciplinary team including families. Requires full-time day-shift availability (6:00am-6:00pm), every other weekend, Louisiana licensure, and CPR certification; offers a $1,500 hiring bonus and salary range $25-$29/hour ($52,000-$60,320 annually).
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion and graduation from an accredited school of Licensed Practical Nursing
- Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice Licensed Practical Nursing in Louisiana
- Must possess a current certification for Health Care Provider CPR
- Has at least one year of experience
