Job Summary
Conduct biometric wellness screenings at corporate sites, including finger stick blood collection, BMI, blood pressure, and height/weight measurements. Provide basic health coaching based on individual results and perform waived testing procedures using CardioChek Plus while maintaining accurate records. Comply with all safety policies, HIPAA, and OSHA standards during events. This per diem role requires travel to screening locations, lifting up to 40 pounds, and at least one year of healthcare experience with recent finger stick proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Formal medical education
- Current appropriate medical certification
- Additional medical certification or licensure as required by state or regulatory requirements
- High School diploma/GED
- Medical license
- Nurse license
- Phlebotomy Certificate
- Medical Assistant License
- C.N.A license
- At least 1 year of healthcare experience in a professional health care setting
- Completion of a fingerstick within the last 1-2 years
- Proficiency with finger stick blood collection methods
- Proficiency with manual blood pressure
- Skills for proper specimen and reagent handling
- Skills for proper specimen and reagent labeling
- Skills for proper specimen and reagent processing
