LPN for Corporate Wellness Screenings - Newark, NJ

Job Summary
Conduct biometric wellness screenings at client sites, including finger stick blood collection, BMI, blood pressure, and height/weight measurements. Perform basic waived testing procedures on blood samples using CardioChek Plus while maintaining accurate, complete, and legible records. Provide basic health coaching based on individual screening results and ensure compliance with all designated safety policies, HIPAA, and OSHA standards. This per diem role requires travel to corporate/conference room event locations and involves lifting objects up to 40 pounds. Candidates must hold current medical certification and at least one year of healthcare experience.
Required Qualifications
- Formal medical education
- Current appropriate medical certification
- Additional medical certification or licensure as required by state or regulatory requirements
- High School diploma/GED
- Medical license
- Nurse license
- Phlebotomy Certificate
- Medical Assistant License
- C.N.A license
- At least 1 year of healthcare experience in a professional health care setting
- Completion of a fingerstick within the last 1-2 years
- Proficiency with finger stick blood collection methods
- Proficiency with manual blood pressure
- Skills for proper specimen and reagent handling, labeling, processing, preparation, transportation and storage
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 40 pounds
- Fine dexterity with hands/steadiness
- Ability to examine and observe details
- Access to computer, email, voicemail, internet, and Internet Explorer web browser
- Travel to screening event locations
