Summary of Job Duties: We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at UAMS Fayetteville Family Medical Center. This position provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, contributing to assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for a select group of patients. Key responsibilities include direct patient care, adherence to care guidelines, observation and charting of patient changes, administration of prescribed medications and initiation of IV fluids, measuring vital signs, assisting patients with mobility and daily activities, supervising nurses’ aides, collecting samples (blood, urine, sputum), and maintaining inventory.
