Job Summary
Schedule appointments, maintain records, and perform vitals on clients while sharing results with the mental health nurse practitioner. Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing, collaborate with RNs to develop lab orders, and monitor patient conditions to report changes to the healthcare team. Coordinate follow-up care for individuals following discharge from hospital or rehab. A valid Virginia LPN license and BLS certification are required; psychiatric/mental health experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LPN license in Virginia
- Basic life support (BLS) certification required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in psychiatric/mental health is a plus
