Job Summary
LPN in the Emergency Department (Part Time Nights) at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY. Under RN supervision, provide quality nursing care to patients in the Medical Surgical unit, facilitate care with the care team, maintain patient safety and a clean, safe environment, and support patient experience and outcomes. Requires current NYS LPN license and BLS; duties include assisting with assessments, planning, and delivering nursing care as part of a collaborative health care team. Shift is 12-hour nights with part-time employment and opportunities for orientation, tuition allowance, and career development.
Required Qualifications
- Current NYS LPN license
- BLS certification
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under supervision of RN
- Ability to deliver quality nursing care in Medical Surgical unit
- Membership in or eligibility for professional nursing standards in NYS
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Eligibility to work as an LPN in New York State
