Job Summary
Provide general nursing care within the LPN scope of practice, assisting clinical providers with treatment, examination, and testing. Collect assessment data, prepare patients for procedures, and document clinical information while reporting condition changes. Order and gather diagnostic tests as directed, schedule procedures, and obtain necessary authorizations. Administer medications, collect blood and tissue specimens, and prepare patients for laboratory testing.
Required Qualifications
- High School/GED
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- CPR – American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- HIPAA compliance
- Adherence to applicable federal and state laws, rules, and regulations
- Company policies and training requirements
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year in healthcare
- PALS or ACLS State approved IV course certification
- Knowledge of EPIC documentation and assessment process
