Job Summary
Assess patient and family needs, coordinate individualized care plans prioritizing comfort and dignity, and utilize monitoring, intervention, and teaching skills to enhance quality of life. Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and families during overnight care while working under the direction of the Registered Nurse and primary physician. This role involves continuous care coverage from 7pm to 7:30am every other weekend in the Broward County area for a not-for-profit organization dedicated to Full Life Care for all.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Florida
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Adequate and reliable means of transportation with adequate insurance and valid Florida driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Successful completion of 30 hour IV Course meeting State of Florida Board of Nursing requirements
