Job Summary
Deliver direct patient care, administer medications, and conduct assessments for inmate health concerns within a secure correctional environment. Collaborate with healthcare providers to respond to medical needs with professionalism while helping maintain a safe, respectful, and efficient facility. This full-time role features a rotating 12-hour day shift schedule (Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM; Saturday–Sunday: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM) with every other weekend off. Southern Health Partners offers a sign-on and retention bonus for nurses joining the Wood County Jail medical team.
