Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process to achieve prioritized outcomes. Perform complete admission evaluations, comprehensive nursing assessments, and full body system analyses. Administer intravenous interventions, emergency treatments, and medications in accordance with provider orders and scope of practice. Conduct patient rounding, provide patient and family education, and document accurate ongoing assessments reflecting interventions and outcomes. Collaborate with health care providers, ancillary areas, and the health team to coordinate care and address abnormal symptoms or condition changes. Ensure patient and staff safety by implementing standard precautions, infection controls, and proper body mechanics. Respond to patient needs and triage emergency situations appropriately.
