Job Summary
CMA and LPN roles at Great Falls Clinic Hospital. Responsibilities include assisting in examination, treatment or diagnostic procedures under physician direction following established standards and practices; serve as primary liaison between patients, staff and providers; take vital signs, triage patient calls, refill prescriptions, complete prior authorizations, and support the team of co-workers. Provide direction to CNAs and Schedulers; receive direction from Providers, Nurses Coordinators, Clinical Managers/Supervisors (CMA) and Providers, Coordinators, and RN(s) (LPN). Requires CMA licensure/credentialing and LPN license with current standards for continuing education. BLS certification required for CMA and LPN. Demonstrates Medical Terminology knowledge, basic nursing principles and procedures, and keyboarding/office skills. Pre-employment screening (criminal background check, drug screening, health and immunizations) is required for offers. Required Qualifications
- CMA certification or eligibility
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- LPN license (Current State LPN license)
- Graduate of a nursing program (LPN)
- CMA/RMA certification and currency (for CMA)
- Medical Terminology knowledge
- Basic office and keyboarding skills
- Ability to take vital signs, triage calls, refill prescriptions, complete prior authorizations
